What is Modern Selections return policy?

We take great pride in the quality of our merchandise. There is a one year manufacturers limited warranty against factory defects. Any item that arrives with a visible defect, or damage, will require a claim to be processed. Images are required for all claim, including packaging and item detail, all packaging materials must be kept intact for return and/or inspection. Without original packaging claims will be denied. If the product is received damaged, and the package has visual damage, it is customer's responsibility to note on the delivery receipt and marked as exception with the delivery driver. If the packaging is damaged in transit and the delivery is signed for as clear delivery without any note of damage, claims will be denied. Please be sure to note any and all damages, inspect the item before signing for clear delivery to avoid claim denial. All damaged or defective items will be replaced or repaired at no cost to the customer, however if replacement or repair is not desired, standard return policy will apply. If for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 7 days of receiving your order for a refund less S&H. Since we offer free shipping, the actual shipping charges incurred will be deducted from your return credit. You must first contact our returns department to obtain a return authorization and all returns must be returned to us in its original packaging on freight prepaid basis and insured. All Returns must be in unused condition, with all original packaging. All Authorized returns for any reason will be subject to a restocking fee. Customers are responsible for all freight charges both ways. After 7 days, we will replace or repair your purchase against manufacturer's defects only. Items that have been assembled and/or missing any of the original packaging are not eligible for return.  Returns are not accepted if the original packaging is not available. No Exceptions!


Special custom orders are non-refundable. 


Q:How long will it take for a refund to be credited to my account?

Once we have received your returned item(s) we will process and refund within five business days.






Modern Selections is not responsible for 'NOMINAL' size discrepancies. All measurements advertised are within 1-1.5" accuracy to manufacturer's specifications.


Q:Is there any Warranty?


All products come with a 1 year limited manufacturer's warranty against product defect. At our option, we will repair or replace the product with equal or similar product. Improper use, abuse, damage or commercial use are not covered under this warranty. Transportation of the product requiring repair or replacement will be covered 7 days from the date of purchase, at purchaser's expense after 7 days. Only the original purchaser with proof of purchase at the original delivery address shall be covered. Written notice of any claim should include proof of purchase, description of the problem, and photograph of the defect. Natural marks or wrinkling of leather are not defects, but are proof that genuine cowhide is used. Application of improper substances, spills from paint, dyes or acids, or exposure to direct sunlight or other heat source to the leather are not covered. Cushions will naturally soften over time, a result of normal use, and should not be confused with loss of resilience due to defects in construction or materials.
